Mrs. Thelma Denise Body-Walker was born on March 9, 1972 to the parentage of Brenda Ann Body and Benie Eppiinger in Thomaston Upson County Georgia. She received her education from Upson High School in Thomaston, GA.
She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Midway Baptist Church, where she served as president of the choir. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Michael Allen Walker, Sr., on April 21, 1992 in Thomaston, GA. Thelma was employed by Molena Nursing Home, Inc., where she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 23 years.
Thelma was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mrs. Rosa Body and a sister Tarsha Parker.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Michael A. Walker, Sr.; her children; Marsha Body(Falandez Carter), Katrisca Brown, Michael Walker, Jr., and Kiiondra Miller whom she loved as her own child; her mother Brenda Ann Body; father Benie (Mary Jo) Eppinger; four grandchildren A’niya Powell, A’zaria Spivey, Mariah Carter and Mikell Walker; grandmother Mrs. Ethel Green; four sisters; Sylvia Thomas(Gary) Mathis, Pertish Thomas, Halekia Eppinger and Ame Gilbert; a brother Dexter (Dina) Parker; two uncles; Jessie (Mary)Body and Benjamin (Doris) Body; four aunts; Erma (Samuel) Jones; Barbara (Joe) Manuel, Diane (Andrew) Nixon and Ethel Eppinger; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends tha will miss her dearly.
Home Going service for Thelma was held at Midway Baptist Church in Thomaston, GA. Interment to follow in Midway Church Cemetery, Rev. Pastor Dr. A.C. O’Neal rendered the eulogy.
Burden and Worthy Funeral of Thomaston, 215 N Bethel Street, Thomaston, GA was in charge of all professional arrangements.
