Allie Ruth Tomlin – Kendall and the late Charlie Kendall. Out of their union there was 5 children; Charles, Stoney, Sylvan and the late Orlando Kendall. David transitioned into eternal life on November 9, 2013.
He graduated from Holly High School in Holly, New York where he moved to Atlanta, Georgia. After many years of dedicated work as a truck driver for Empire Paper Company, he was blessed to meet and marry his love, Karen Williams-Kendall. David was a devoted husband and father. His life was filled with helping his fellow neighbors of the Richland Hills Community. His heart was filled with laughter, his smile bought the world to many doorsteps, his presence lifted spirits and his love selfless and totally unconditional.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of 27 years Karen Litoshe’ Williams-Kendall; a daughter Ursula (Quentin) Kendall-Johnson; two sons John Verdell (Adjua) Ferguson; and David Patrick (Tiffany) Kendall; a loving mother Mrs. Allie Ruth Tomlin- Kendall; three siblings; Sylvan McCoy; Charles Kendall and Stoney Wyche; two special kids Jourdan and Journey; four grandchildren and hot of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Home going celebration for Mr. Kendall was held on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 12:00pm at St. Peters Missionary Baptist Church on 1558 Venetian Dr., SW in Atlanta, Georgia. Bishop Elect Francis Mills rendered the eulogy. Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia.
